We must each do our own work. But the Guide is standing nearby holding the light. We only need to reach for it.
Jill Loree
We each have, inside us, everything we need to get all the way home. But we are remarkably good at hiding this from ourselves. On my path, it has been the way-showers who have made all the difference.
They’re the ones who have gone this way before me. They have been willing to hold the light for me.
That’s why I create these books. So that whenever someone is hurting, and they are ready to reach for help, they can find the hand of the Pathwork Guide.
This wisdom has helped carry me through many painful passages. These teachings will eventually lead me all the way home.
We must each do our own work. But the Pathwork Guide is standing nearby holding the light.
We only need to reach for it.

“I don’t have a magic wand. There is no magic wand. But even if I did, I would not use it. I would not rob you of the experience of growing through this.”
Scott Wisler
Like everyone that comes to this work, I had to struggle my way through each and every step. One day, in despair, I said to my Helper: “If only you had a magic wand and could make me better.”
He replied, “I don’t have a magic wand. There is no magic wand. But even if I did, I would not use it. I would not rob you of the experience of growing through this.”
I accepted his answer, reluctantly, but I didn’t come close to grasping its full meaning, scope or potential.
The Pathwork Guide explained, time and again, that there is nothing to fear. That life is a thoroughly benign process where we can create limitless beauty and fulfilment for ourselves.
I couldn’t grasp this. My experiences and beliefs about life, tangled in my psyche, said otherwise.
It wasn’t—and still isn’t—easy to untangle my wrong conclusions. But each time I do, I realize just a little more clearly that the Guide’s description of life is true.
And this has been worth far more to me than any magic wand ever could.
