Wars on planet Earth are only an out-picturing of spiritual war.
The Pathwork Guide describes the profound spiritual turning point that occurred after Christ’s death—a decisive battle that reshaped humanity’s destiny.
Following his mission on Earth, Christ returned to the Spirit World and led a spiritual battle against Lucifer and the forces of darkness. Though symbolic in description, this “war” reflects a real shift in spiritual law. Christ’s victory established new conditions that still govern human development today.
From that point forward, every soul gained a renewed opportunity to turn toward God over the course of many lifetimes. While Lucifer retained the right to tempt humanity, his power became limited and subject to divine law. Humans are no longer bound to darkness if they choose otherwise.
Earth is revealed as a school for growth, where each incarnation offers chances to face and transform aspects of the Lower Self. Progress comes through conscious choice—turning away from destructive tendencies and aligning with truth.
“Salvation,” then, is not a one-time event but an ongoing process. Each act of honesty, courage and humility reopens the path to God.
Christ’s victory lives on whenever we choose growth over resistance—bringing light into the world through our own transformation.
